Support our efforts to tackle the unprecedented litter problems across Hampstead Heath and we'll: 

1. Run regular litter picks with volunteers and members of the public to try tackle the litter problem, which is particularly prevalent after busy summer weekends on the heath 

2. Purchase extra litter pickers and safety equipment to keep our volunteer #litterheroes safe

2. Deliver engagement sessions with visitors, local schools and community groups to help inform people about the impacts littering

Heath Hands is doing all it can to help the Heath's Rangers tackle the litter and waste people are dropping in huge quantities across our green spaces. Not only is it unsightly, it endangers our precious wildlife like hedgehogs, squirrels and birds. We're encouraging everyone to act responsibly and take their litter home, but our staff and volunteers will remain busy for the summer months and the rest of the year dealing with this ongoing problem.
